Talia Castellano was a young cancer-stricken YouTube celebrity who became famous for her makeup and fashion tutorials. Diagnosed with cancer in 2007, she battled neuroblastoma and leukemia for over six years. In addition to fashion, she also used her channel as a platform to raise awareness about the diseases she suffered from. Her courage in the face of seemingly insurmountable challenges made her a popular covergirl and she was featured in various magazines, such as, Cosmopolitan,Teen Vogue and Seventeen.

Later, along with designer Urbana Chappa, who had also been a cancer patient, she launched a clothing line as well. The line was successful; but despite the earnings, her family struggled financially as most of the money was spent on her high medical bills. Talia bravely went through various types of therapies and treatments. However, there was no proper treatment available to tackle both cancers at the same time and she finally passed away on 16 July 2013 at the Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, in Fern Park, Florida, just one month before she would have turned fourteen.
