The once baby-faced and adorable Robert Capron Jr., now a handsome teen, is an American actor who started off as a child artist best recognised for portraying Rowley Jefferson in first three of the four flicks of Diary of a Wimpy Kid film series. He landed up into the world of acting while in his elementary school making his debut with Trinity Repertory Company’s production of A Christmas Carol. While continuing with on-stage performances, he embarked into films with a bit role in Bride Wars.

His big break came when he earned the role of Rowley Jefferson, in the box-office hit American comedy film Diary of a Wimpy Kid. His brilliant performance in the film not only earned him much accolades but also saw him reprising the role in the next two instalments of Diary of a Wimpy Kid film series namely Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rule and Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days with the latter fetching him two Young Artists Awards. He also remained part of the big-budget American fantasy film The Sorcerer’s Apprentice. Other notable films of Capron include Frankenweeni where he gave voice over and The Way, Way Back and TV series like Elementary.
