Pink is a singer-songwriter hailing from America who has also dabbled with acting and emerged successful in all her experimental attempts. She had an affinity to singing and song writing and even as a child she penned lyrics with grave meanings. She became a member of a band in her high school and later formed her own band named Choice. This band song was heard by musician L. A. Reid and on his advice, Pink embarked on a career as a solo artist. She recorded songs and even wrote songs for her own album as well as for other artists. Her first album’s first song There You Go itself earned her immense popularity, and proved Reid’s suggestion to be beneficial to her. She then kept on producing albums which consisted singles which became immediate successes and even reached the top ten on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Her concert tours also met with immense success and helped her built a foundation as an international artist. This talented singer-songwriter embarked into a career as an actress and her performance in the film Thanks for Sharing was highly acclaimed.
