Paul Giamatti is an American character actor and producer, who is best known for his roles in diverse films such as Private Parts, Sideways and Rock of Ages. Paul was born in Connecticut and is the youngest of the three children in the family. He started his education at Foote School and later graduated from Choate Rosemary Hall. He then attended Yale University and earned Master of Fine Arts from the same. He began his journey in Hollywood with Howard Stern’s biopic Private Parts. He played supporting role in the high-profile films such as The Truman Show, Saving Private Ryan and The Negotiator. Giamatti received his first Golden Globe nomination for his performance in Sideways and his first Academy Award nomination for Cinderella Man. Apart from acting and producing, Paul has also worked as a voice artist and gave his voice for the films Robots, Asterix and the Vikings, The Ant Bully and many more. He has been married to Elizabeth Cohen and the couple has a son, Samuel Giamatti. The family resides in Brooklyn, New York. |
