Meghan Elizabeth Trainor is an American singer, songwriter and record producer, who wrote, recorded, performed and produced three independently released albums before she turned 18. A child prodigy, Trainor’s interest in singing and songwriting can be traced to her musically-inclined family; her father being her pillar of support. Since an early age, Meghan Trainor exhibited a fondness for music, which was appreciated and encouraged by her parents. By eleven, she had started writing music and two years later penned her first original score.
