He also owns a construction business, Diversified Construction Co, and is one of the most successful and well-to-do businessmen in Pall Mall, Tennessee. He made headlines for his opposition of the Federal Marriage Amendment, a bill that created a lot of controversy in the United States with respect to gay marriage, divorce laws and adultery.
