Leslie Stefanson is an American actress, model and sculptor who worked in a number of movies, telefilms and TV series till 2003. She is best known for playing the titular role of Capt. Elisabeth Campbell in the film The General’s Daughter in 1999. After a brief stint as a model, she began acting in 1994 with a short appearance in the film The Cowboy Way. In the next few years, she went on to do small roles in movies like The Mirror Has Two Faces (1996) and Flubber (1997), and appeared as a waitress in the Academy Award winning film As Good As It Gets in 1997. She soon started to land major roles in films, such as Delivered, An Alan Smithee Film: Burn Hollywood Burn and Break Up, all of which released in the year 1998. Following her breakthrough role in The General’s Daughter the next year, she continued to appear in a number of movies like Beautiful (2000), Unbreakable (2000) and The Stickup (2001). She also played major roles in the TV series Jackie, Ethel, Joan: The Women of Camelot(2001) and MDs (2002). After appearing in the movies, The Hunted and Alien Hunter in 2003, she left acting to pursue a career in sculpting. |
