Candace Cameron Bure is an American actress who is best known for her role as DJ Tanner on the sitcom Full House. A multi-talented personality, Bure has donned various hats in her short career span, as an actor, producer, author and talk show panellist. Candace’s fate in performing arts was sealed, given the fact that her elder brother Kirk Cameron was already an established star actor. Following the footsteps of her brother, Candace too joined the entertainment industry. In the early struggling period, she appeared in a number of television commercials and guest roles. It was in 1987 that her career graph took the big leap with the sitcom Full House. Her performance as DJ Tanner earned her rave reviews and appreciation and also brought her to spotlight. She also bagged a role in the film Punchline. In 2014, Candace appeared as a contestant in the reality show Dancing With the Stars. She finished it at the third spot.
