Amanda Laura Bynes is a popular American actress who became a star after her long association with Nickelodeon as a child artist. She was born and brought up in California and her parents supported her aspirations to act professionally. She was sent to many Hollywood based comedy classes and soon she was spotted by Nickelodeon and was offered a sketch comedy show of her own The Amanda Show, for which she won many Nickelodeon Awards. She soon stepped into Hollywood and did big movies likeBig Fat Liar, What a Girl Wants, Hairspray, etc. She was also popular on the television with the series like What I Like About You. Bynes declared on Twitter, around the year 2010, that she was to retire from the acting profession because it does not interest her anymore but later in the same year she unretired from Hollywood and did a cameo in the movie Easy .
