Diane Keaton is a renowned American actress and an occasional singer who also delved into directing and producing films. She is a multi-faceted personality who has not only proved her mettle in the various aspects of the entertainment industry but also portrayed her creative versatility in writing and photography. She is also a real estate developer. Her journey in acting started as a stage artist in the late 60s.

She performed in the Woody Allen hit stage show Play It Again, Sam. Thereafter, in the early 70s she debuted in big screen and television simultaneously. After a couple of films she landed up with the dramatic role of Kay Adams in the film The Godfather and later reprised the role in the other Godfather series, The Godfather Part  II and The Godfather Part III. Her other notable dramatic roles include Louise Bryant in Reds, Bessie in Marvin’s Room and Erica Barry in Something’s Gotta Give.

Though she received critical acclaim for her dramatic roles in various films, she gained immense popularity and fame with her remarkable comic timings in a number of Woody Allen films including Play It Again, Sam, Sleeper, Love and Death and Annie Hall. The latter won her several awards including Academy Award, BAFTA Awards and Golden Globe.
